ECD-DANIDA Urban Refugee Project Update – December 21, 2024

The youth-led team of the DANIDA Urban Refugee Project has launched its fourth initiative, focusing on effective household waste management. This initiative aims to create cleaner communities while exploring waste management as a viable and sustainable business model. It marks a significant step toward promoting environmental conservation and encouraging responsible waste disposal practices.

The launch event was officially opened by Mr. Mebratu Dase, Head of the Sub-City Party Office. Mr. Desalegn Abera, Head of the W.9 Office, delivered a keynote address highlighting the importance of sustainable waste management and recycling.
