About ECD

Ethiopian Centre for Development (ECD) is a non-governmental local organization operating in the field of education, community safety and violence prevention, youth and women empowerment and employment.It was established in 2004 to work on Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms, under the name of Ethiopian Arbitration and Conciliation Center (EACC) and had been working on the promotion of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

It was changed in to Ethiopian Center for Development in 2013. The center’s head office is located in Addis Ababa with branch offices in Bahir Dar, Arba Minch, and Adama.
