Celebrating World Refugee Day

On June 21, U.S. Department of State: Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration-supported Julia Taft grantees the Ethiopian Center for Development and Organization for Social Development organized a vibrant event in Addis Ababa celebrating the resilience of refugees under the theme “For a World Where Refugees Are Welcomed.” The day featured cultural music, inspiring refugee stories, advocacy for refugee rights, and a solidarity football match uniting youth from refugee and host communities.
